Look at that gorgeous cover!

Volume 1

Art: The art is great and I love that there’s more background scenery than I’ve seen in most manga. It’s beautifully drawn.

Well, now I know why this is such a popular manga series. The story packs a punch. I love the characters. Naruto is strong character so far. His motivations make sense. It had me hooked within a few pages.

There was a plot reveal that I thought might be better suited revealing near the end as a cool cliffhanger for volume 1, but it was an awesome scene so I’m not complaining.

Also, for those who’ve already read this volume, Page 92-ish…I ship it.

Volume 2

Art: Yet again blown away. I love scenery parts, so beautiful.

I’m loving this. I really enjoy that our main character, Naruto, isn’t overpowered and always saving the day. I also like how each character has their flaws.

The female character, Sakura, hasn’t shown much and is almost in the background. I really hope this changes.

Not as fast paced as volume 1,  but I’m a fan of building tension so that’s fine by me.

Volume 3

Art: The art was, yet again, brilliant. I love the character designs.

I’m not loving Sakura at the minute, but I’ve been promised she becomes awesome.

Sasuke and Naruto are excellent and well rounded. This volume was dramatic and teeeense! It ended on one heck of a cliffhanger. Things are really kicking up now!

So far, I’m loving this manga. The story and pacing is excellent and the character’s are very well rounded, well, except Sakura, but I’m hoping this gets better.

I’ll definitely be continuing the manga.
