Kevin McCallister is a boy who is mistakenly left behind when his family flies to Paris for their Christmas vacation.

This film has aged well considering it’s 25 years old. 25! How insane is that?!

The entire premise stretches the limit of believability. It’s absurd and would likely never happen in real life like this. (Seriously, where was the money coming from?) Oh, and one more thing, it’s FANTASTIC!! Full of hi-jinks, (isn’t that an amazing word?!), and laugh out loud moments.

What’s even more amazing is that our main star, Macaulay Culkin, was only ten! He, along with Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern, are hilariously amazing in this film. (Although , Daniel Pesci is my absolute favourite, but I bet he’s everyones.)

Catherine O’Hara is wonderful in her role too, giving a softer, more serious and real side of the story.

A really fun Christmas that’ll most definitely get you into the spirit of the season.

To sum up, Fun, Action packed, Festive

Was it worth the watch? Yes

Would I re-watch? Yes

Stars: 5/6
