Deck the halls film review

UK release date: 1/12/06

Runtime: 93 minutes

Directed by: John Whitesell

Starring: Danny DeVito, Matthew Broderick, Kristin Davis, Kristin Chenoweth

My eyeballs ache from rolling them so much. I found the dull pretty slow and dull from the start.

There’s barely any story as if they’ve threaded a plot together just so the could release a Christmas ‘comedy’. They seem to go through every cliche throughout the movie. I didn’t smile once.

Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick seem to feel the same as me as they seem to go through the motions through the film. The entire thing feels staged and set up.

Along with the fact that Danny DeVito and Kristin Chenoweth do not fit together at all. In fact, all the characters seem uncomfortable together. It’s not worth watching at all!

To sum up, Dull acting, Cliche, Boring

Was it worth the watch? No

Would I re-watch? No

Stars: 2/6
