As soon as this film started, I knew I was going to like it. It has an exciting start and already hints of the film’s humour come to light.

You know how you can watch some films that lead up to it and you’re thinking get to the good stuff so the children will sit nicely and pay attention? This would certainly get a child’s attention immediately.

I loved, loved, loved all the characters. Particularly, Arthur and Steve, the two brothers. In fact, I was disappointed that the didn’t have more interaction. I would’ve loved it to be about them together on this mission. I think their differences would’ve been fun and interesting and hilarious!

I’d love a film focusing on them or on Steve, (and of course, Peter the Elf.)

The plot is a refreshing take on the whole Christmas/ Santa Claus thing. It was packed full of emotion and had me teary eyed on several occasions. Definitely a family film to add to your Christmas DVDs. It really gets you into the spirit of things.

To sum up, Fun, fast paced, festive

Was it worth the watch? Yes

Would I re-watch? Yes

Stars: 5/6
