The Muppet Christmas carol film review

The Muppet Christmas carol has to be my favourite version of the film. I mean, how can anyone not love it?! Twenty three-odd years old and still looks brilliant. It’s delightful to see how well it follows the book.

I love the our two Narrators, Gonzo and Rizzo, and their witty banter. It seems to add an extra spice to the film. They often make me smile and laugh. The film is so festive!

And the mix of live actors and Muppet’s works so well. The Muppet’s seem to give their character’s an extra flare about them. Michael Caine is an excellent Scrooge and will always be my favourite one.

The film is fast paced and glides from one scene to another. It’s almost like a pantomime, especially when it breaks into songs into occasion. The inclusion of the Muppet’s make this version of A Christmas carol stand out.

This is one Christmas that you shouldn’t miss out on because if you don’t watch it then it’s not really Christmas!

To sum up, festive, witty characters, unique, exciting to watch

Was it worth the watch? Yes

Would I re-watch? Every Christmas!

Stars: 6/6
