Christmas with the Coopers film review

I feel like they just mashed this film together just to get cash in on the whole Christmas film thing.

It tries to weave several characters and their stories a lot like the film Love actually. Unlike Love actually it doesn’t work.

There are so many characters and a mass of information you need to keep track off. But you don’t spend much with either character and their stories are very shallow and almost cliche.

I didn’t connect to this film at all. I didn’t care about any of it and there wasn’t much of a story, conflict or climax. The characters are completely oblivious to one another.

There are sad moments and funny moments, but they’re a drop in the ocean in this film. This isn’t a Christmas film, or just a film in general, that’s worth your time.

To sum up, Nothing special, dull, long, no real point

Was it worth the watch? No

Would I re-watch? No

Stars: 2/6
