The film is well made and well paced. There aren’t any lulls or needless talking. We get straight into the story and boy is that beginning great and a great ending.

Although, there doesn’t really seem to be a villain in this film. I mean, they’re mentioned, but not a specific person for us to clutch on to and hate.

Unfortunately, you don’t get much back story or character’s back story, pity because they seem interesting and so does the story.

This film is like a short story using established characters from a novel. You could read it and enjoy it, but to really get the most out of it you need to already know the world and its characters.

Your enjoyment of this film would probably be enhanced if you already know Halo, either from the games or the books.

A lot of things are mentioned in the film, but never delved into, things you’d probably know if you play the games.

Essentially this film is for those that already know a lot about Halo. Those who don’t, like me, will find this film dissatisfying and missing something.

To sum up, for fans of Halo, really well made, great acting, dissatisfying

Was it worth the watch? No, but it may be for Halo fans

Would I re-watch? No
